How To Have A Spooktacular Hallowen!

How To Have A Spooktacular Hallowen!

#Halloween is just around the corner and so it is definitely time to go over to the dark side - but how can you be the Queen of Halloween without being cheesy? I'm sure we would all love to swish round in a witches outfit all day, but sometimes it's just not practical (and we're not sure the boss would approve!) so here are Little Women's top tips on how to get a touch of grown-up Halloween style into your wardrobe with items that are suitable to wear all year round.

Gothic Lace Lingerie

Nothing says Gothic style more than some gorgeous black lingerie, and we have to admit we are slightly in love with our B-Provocative Bralette in Black Lace. At just £26 this bralette is not only sexy and stylish but really comfortable too, and it has beautiful detailing at the back as well. You may be under the impression that Braletts are just for teenagers, but nothing could be further from the truth. This semi halterneck lace bralette with silky oyster detailing would make a great teen bra yes, but you will feel all woman when you wear it for sure.

This lace lingerie piece looks great when paired with either the b.tempted Lace Kiss Bikini Brief or b.tempted Lace Kiss Thong in Night (depending on your pant preference).

Grown Up Halloween Outfits

Now that we have got your undies sorted, what should you wear over it? Well, this bra just demands to be seen so why not go for something like the Millie mackintosh Midnight Blue Velvet Jumpsuit from Asos?

At £110 it is a little pricey, but Velvet is a huge trend this Winter and so you could definitely wear it again over the party season.

If a jumpsuit isn't your thing, then how about layering lace on lace and popping on this gorgeous black lace tunic from Zara?

A real wardrobe classic, this looks great either tucked into a skirt or worn loose over jeans. You could also pop a furry gilet over the top to really amp up the luxurious look.

If the thought of flashing your underwear leaves you cold, then how about this cosy yet stylish star print Twilight jumper from Hush?

The star print gives a slight nod to Halloween but is so beautifully done that you can wear it all year round without feeling daft.

Chic Halloween Makeup

The great thing about Halloween makeup is that deep berry lipsticks and glossy black nails are all the rage this Winter, so any of these items would make a great addition to your makeup bag as well as helping you to get your creep on!

Nobody does makeup better than Charlotte Tilbury, and she has some amazing deep berry red lipsticks to suit all skin tones. One of our favourites is K.I.S.S.I.N.G. in Night Crimson:

Such a great colour as it is not only dark and sexy but it doesn't wash you out and make you look like a vampire either.

One of our favourite style icons is Alexa Chung, so we were over the moon when we realised she had collaborated with Nails Inc on a fantastic range of nail polishes! Her 'Alexa Leather' is the perfect matte black for Halloween, and works well as a base for some groovy nail art!
