How Your New Bra Should Fit

How Your New Bra Should Fit

Finding the right bra can be tricky enough, especially if you have a smaller bust.

At LittleWomen.com, we specialise in AAA-AA-A cup sizes. Our bras are designed to cut out the common issues in mainstream lingerie brands, like gaping and ill-fitting bands.

You might be wondering, how should my new bra fit?

Band

Let's start with the band. It should feel snug (not tight) and sit level under your bust. If you've opted for a wired bra, the wire should lie flat under the bust and at the centre panel.

You should be able to remove the straps while your cups remain upright, supported by the band. 90'% of  support comes from the band, so it's important it fits correctly.

Cup

Moving onto the cups. The edge of the cup should sit smoothly against your skin with no wrinkling or gaping. There shouldn't be any overspill from the sides and you should feel  supported within the bra.

Straps

Your bra straps should feel secure without digging in. Remember, 90% of your support comes from the band. The straps are just an added bonus!

For final checks, lift your arms, bend, and sit. The bra should stay put without gaps or discomfort.
