Orders placed after the cutoff, on weekends or on UK public holidays will normally ship on the next business day.
If there is an unexpected delay with your order, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Will I have to pay US customs duties or import taxes?
Where applicable, US duties and import taxes are calculated and collected at checkout so you can see the cost before completing your order.
You should not normally be asked to make another import payment when your package arrives.
In unusual circumstances, US Customs or the shipping carrier may reassess charges or request additional information.
What does Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) mean?
Delivered Duties Paid, or DDP, means applicable import duties and taxes are handled as part of the shipping arrangement rather than being left for you to settle when the package arrives.
For Little Women orders, applicable duties and import taxes are calculated and collected at checkout.

US Returns & Refunds
Returning an Order from the United States

How long do I have to return an order from the US?
Eligible items should be returned to Little Women within 14 days of receiving your order.
Items must meet our return requirements - all tags and hygiene strips in briefs attached, and no obvious sign of wear other than the garment having been tried on for size. The garments should be returned in their original packaging where possible.
How do I return a Little Women order from the UnitedStates?
Use the return address information supplied as an address sticker at the top of your invoice with your order, package the item securely and send it back to Little Women in the UK using your chosen shipping service.
We request that our international customers include the phrase 'RETURNED ITEM – NO COMMERCIAL VALUE’ on any customs form as this should prevent items being held in customs (whether UK or elsewhere) and delaying your return.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We can only refund the cost of the returned items. We do NOT refund any international shipping charges. Nor can we refund any taxes, duties or other charges not paid directly to us.
We strongly recommend using a tracked service and keeping your shipping receipt or proof of shipment until your return has been processed. Unfortunately we cannot be liable for any loss prior to receiving the return.
Do I have to pay for return shipping from the US?

For a standard return, return shipping from the United States to Little Women in the UK is the customer’s responsibility.

What condition does my return need to be in?
We are happy to accept eligible returns provided the items are returned in their original condition and meet our return requirements.
Items should be clean, undamaged and have all original tags and hygiene stickers or briefs attached.
Garments must be returned in unworn condition (other than trying on for fit purposes).
Products showing signs of wear, washing, alteration, makeup, deodorant, fragrance or other damage may not be eligible for a refund.
Can I return a bra if I have tried it on?
Yes.
A bra may be tried on for fit provided it has not otherwise been worn and is returned clean, undamaged and with all original tags attached.
Can I return briefs?
Briefs can only be accepted for a standard return if they meet our return requirements and the original hygiene liner remains intact.
What should I put on the customs documentation when returning an order to the UK?
When completing customs documentation required by your shipping carrier, identify the package as returned goods being sent back to the original UK retailer.
Declare the contents and value accurately in accordance with your carrier’s instructions.
Can I exchange an item for a different size?
We do not process direct exchanges.
If you would like a different size, color or style, return the original item in line with our Returns information and place a new order
for the item you would prefer.
This means your new order can ship without waiting for your original return to reach us and be processed.
What should I do if my item arrives defective, damaged or incorrect?
Please contact Little Women before returning the item.
Our team will review the issue and explain the appropriate return and refund process for your order.
Defective, damaged and incorrectly supplied items are handled separately from a standard return.

Finding the Right Fit for a Smaller Bust

How should a bra fit properly?
A well-fitting bra should feel snug but comfortable around the band, the band should sit level across your back and contain your breast tissue comfortably without spilling, gaping or excessive wrinkling.
The straps should feel secure without digging into your shoulders.
How tight should my bra band be?
Your bra band should feel snug and supportive without digging in.
It should sit level around your body rather than riding up your back.
The band provides most of the bra’s support, so getting the band fit right is an important part of finding your correct size.
Why does my bra band ride up at the back?
If the band is riding up, then the band size is too big.
If the cups fit well, you can go down a band size, but to keep the same cup volume, you would need to go up a cup size using the relevant sister size.
Why do my bra cups gape?
Gaping can be caused by a cup that is too large, but it can also happen because of cup shape, strap adjustment or the way your breast tissue sits in the bra.
If adjusting the bra does not resolve the gaping, you may need a different cup size or style. Email our team at enquiries@littlewomen.com with your issue and we will be delighted to help
How do I know if my bra cup is too small?
Signs that a cup may be too small include breast tissue spilling over the top or sides of the band or cup, the wire sitting on breast tissue rather than on the firmer rib area at the side of the chest, or the center of the bra lifting away from your chest where the style is designed to sit flat.
If the band fits correctly, try moving up a cup size.
Why do my bra straps keep falling down?
First check the strap adjustment.
If the straps continue to fall after adjustment, the overall bra fit or band size may need reviewing.
A correctly fitted band helps stabilize the bra and keeps the straps positioned more effectively.
Should my bra straps provide most of the support?
No.
Most of the support should come from the bra band.
The straps help position and stabilize the cups, but you should not need to overtighten them to feel supported.
What are bra sister sizes?
Sister sizes are bra sizes with approximately the same cup volume but different band sizes.
They can be useful when the cup fits but the band feels too tight or too loose.
For example:
30A = 32AA = 34AAA
These sizes have a similar cup volume with different band measurements.
How do I find my sister bra size?
The general rule is:
Band too tight: move up one band size and down one cup size.
Band too loose: move down one band size and up one cup size.
This helps maintain a similar cup volume while changing the band fit.

How should I wash my bras?

How often should I wash my bra?
How often you wash a bra depends on how frequently and for how long it is worn.
As a general guide, regular gentle washing helps remove body oils and keep the fabric and elastic in good condition. A rule of thumb is to cycle through 3 bras during a 7 day week - wear one, wash one, store one. But this obviously depends on how much use and what wear type a bra has had.
Can I wash my Little Women bra in a washing machine?
Hand washing is preferred, particularly for delicate or underwired bras.
If you choose to machine wash lingerie, use a gentle or delicate cycle and place the items inside a lingerie laundry bag for additional protection.
Fasten hooks before washing to reduce snagging.
Always check the individual garment care label first.
How should I care for swimwear?
Rinse swimwear in cool water after use to help remove chlorine, salt water and sunscreen.
