If you follow us on Twitter , Instagram and Facebook then you would have probably noticed that we have been in the gorgeous city of #Lyon visiting #ModeCity2016 the #lingerieswimshow last week.
We went not only for trend #inspiration but to get to preview the latest collections for AW-16/17 and SS17 - lots of exciting meetings with new brands and of course - how could we resist the occasional glass of bubbles ;) and the cutest mini desserts!
We sat with Mimi Holliday where there lovely team showed us #sneakpeaks of their latest look books. All of which we fell in love with of course! Beautiful lace, heart shaped details and pretty pastel candy colours! Needless to say, we wanted it all - keep your eyes peeled for exciting things to come with this brand..
We sat and watched the African inspired fashion show - sadly there is no recording or photography allowed in the show so we can only give you this glimpse of what we managed to find on Instagram! - A quick video of the amazing models performing!
We sampled Evian's deliciously refreshing new beverage Fruits and Plants water. We tried raisin and rose and were pleasantly surprised!
Also, how adorable are the bottles - almost as nice as the drink itself!
We also managed to see the boss behind Taylor and Rani: a fun and fresh new brand for young girls that supports and donates to charities in Zimbabwe, Malawi and Sierra Leone to help girls stay in education longer. We got snippets of their latest prints and underwear - all very colourful with the prettiest prints designed by '' - owner of the brand. Our fave out of all the prints was the flamingo & pineapple combo and the matching scrunchy. Not to mention they also do the sweetest greeting cards with fab quotes like -
'bad days are made better with matching lingerie'
We also got to visit the Old Town in Lyon
where the streets are filled with amazing bakeries, bars and restaurants. We had a few G&T's in the boiling hot sun
and talked about the exciting things to come soon.
