AW17 makeup interview
15th September 2017
LW is pleased to announce that this collection will be our most elegant and sophisticated yet!
Our very own MUA, Pavel Robson, created the amazing AW17 look for our model Jess. We wanted Jess to look natural with a golden goddess glow.
Pavel enhanced Jess's natural beauty by adding metallic shimmers and nude glosses.
-I started doing makeup professionally in 2004.
-I have done many drawings since my childhood and that's what brought me to makeup.
-The project that I consider most gratifying is when I was interviewed for the book "Luxury Lips" that was published in 2009. I featured in the book among some great makeup artists.
-Pat Mcgrath is one of my role models; she inspires me with her career. Mcgrath built her career alone - she began as a receptionist, whilst continuing her passion for makeup on the side. She never gave up!
-I want people to know where to place the illuminator (Touche Eclat YSL) on the face to look less tired and brighter.
-"Less is more".
-My biggest challenge is being a perfectionist because it pushes me to always do better.
-A mirror to see how old I am. Warm clothing in case of weather...(Storm) and books to keep my brain working.
-Glamorous, elegant and a bit sexy. The last look was very nude, baby doll.
-Sex on the beach.
-My favourite look for AW17 is the black trench coat with a black leather beret and black boots.
Your favourite holy grail piece of makeup?
-"La Touche Eclat " by Yves Saint Laurent. All women should have one in their handbag.
-To properly moisturize your skin for comfort, a better hold and added brightness.
-I prefer the gloss because it's more glamorous, sensual, sexy and it gives your lips a luscious finish.
-Drinking glasses of wine with my friends.
-The House of HO is my favourite restaurant in London.
-Chanel, Armani and Makeup Forever.
-The best highlighter for a golden goddess look is from NARS.
